A welcoming new community co-operative for gay, bisexual and queer men is growing right here in Brunswick and across Melbourne.
Love Guys is a not-for-profit community offering regular men’s peer support groups, workshops and connection spaces rooted in courage, courtesy, reciprocity, intimacy and mutual support. It’s run by guys who love guys helping guys who love guys to… love guys – building friendships, deeper connection and healthier relationships in a queer-affirming context.
At the heart of Love Guys are the Guys Loving Guys peer support groups – weekly gatherings where queer men come together to share about relationships, challenges and the tools that help us create joy and connection in our lives. These groups are open to all who identify in some way with “man,” “gay,” “bisexual” and/or “queer.” Facilitated by peers and shaped by shared stories, personal reflections and group connection, they are spaces where authenticity flourishishes.
Love Guys also runs workshops and events focused on personal growth, connection skills and community building – from relational discussions to creative activities and shared practices that explore intimacy and queer experience.
The community is expanding, with regular peer groups happening in Brunswick (and other Melbourne suburbs) and more opportunities for connection on the horizon. Everyone is invited to join the e-list to stay in the loop about upcoming groups, workshops and membership opportunities.
